Model Pembelajaran STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions)

1. Pengertian Model Pembelajaran STAD

Model pembelajaran STAD merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran kooperatif. Menurut  Nur Citra Utomo dan C. Novi Primiani (2009: 9), “STAD didesain untuk memotivasi siswa-siswa supaya kembali bersemangat dan saling menolong untuk mengembangkan keterampilan yang diajarkan oleh guru”. Menurut Mohamad Nur (2008: 5), pada model ini siswa dikelompokkan dalam tim dengan anggota 4 siswa pada setiap tim. Tim dibentuk secara heterogen menurut tingkat kinerja, jenis kelamin, dan suku.

Berdasarkan uraian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran STAD lebih menekankan kepada pembentukan kelompok. Kelompok yang dibentuk nantinya akan berdiskusi untuk menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan. Oleh karena itu model pembelajaran STAD dapat membuat siswa untuk saling membantu dalam menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan.

 

MISSING SQUARE PUZZLE

The apparent paradox is explained by the fact that the side of the new large square is a little smaller than the original one. If a is the side of the large square and θ is the angle between two opposing sides in each quadrilateral, then the quotient between the two areas is given by sec²θ − 1. For θ = 5°, this is approximately 1.00765, which corresponds to a difference of about 0.8%.
